How about a chicken?

What do you do if you want to have a chicken for lunch?

At home you probably go to a supermarket and buy a frozen or cooled chicken (or a part of it) on a plastic plate, no head, no beak, no feathers, no clucking, just foil and several stickers advising you on the weight, origin, ingredients, allergies and hazards connected with that particular chicken. You put it in the fridge of freezer and consume in due time.

Here you go in the morning on the street and pick a very alive chicken from the chicken shop:



And so when in the morning I see a chicken running around our NGO yard, I know what the main course of the day will be...
